Freddie Johnson is a shameless, small-time crook, spinning spurious tales of woe to woo women's cash. Realizing the resort town Beaumont Sur Mer is too small for two swindlers, the con men compete for $50,000 from an ingenuous heiress. Battling for squatter's rights, a tale of seductive high jinks ensues. The question is who wins out, and who gets conned.
