I just went and got my tat, both Dan's were professional. They explained everything perfectly. The tattoo procedure did not even hurt. It was very well done, I am very satisfied with the tat! I will go back for more. :)

Pros: Walked In... after I called first lol Open early!!

Cons: There was none.

Ive gotten four tattoos at redline now and each one has been a great experience. The two Dan's that run the shop are extremely helpful when making your tattoo decesion. Each one is extremely informed of the art, as well as, proper technique and after care for the work. I recently had Dan customize two tattoos to be placed on my right and left arm. I am extrememly happy with the results of the work. The color and shading are perfect. The shop is extrememly professional. The surrounding is very clean which provides a comfortable atmosphere. The two Dan's are very helpful making sure to advise each customer with their professional opinion. Each experience has been a great one at redline. I strongly reccommend that if you are looking to get a tattoo or are interested in gaining information about tattoos go talk to redline.

It has been 21 years since my last tattoo a little devil on my right wrist. oops! Now at the age of 42 I was ready to get the tattoo I've always wanted, A SF 49ers tattoo. I found the design I wanted. Now I had to find an artist to make it all happen. Since my tattoo had a face on it I wanted a artist that is good with detail. I looked at some tattoo shops art work but nothing really caught me eye until I walked into Redline. The Dans are two of the coolest guys you can ever meet. Dan Bernard the tattoo artist has over 23 years of experience. Also the shop was very clean. The other Dan works at the front desk and also dose body piercing, and art work and I'm sure a lot more. I showed them what I wanted and I was told how much it would cost, I liked the price. We then made an apointment that fit MY schedule. I had a few little changes I wanted to make before my appointment. when I called about the changes I was given NO aditude and Dan was very helpful and into it as much as I was. On the day of my tattoo I was a little nervese, I got to the shop a little early Dan the artist was about to eat his lunch but instead of going to another room he ate his lunch with me and we bullshited like two old buddys. When he was done they where already set up for me. Dan took one look at me and knew what music to play. For 2 1/2 hours we talked about good times and our love for kick BUTT rock and roll. Before I knew it he was done. I almost did not wanted to end. But when I saw the work he did I could not wait to leave the shop so I can show the world the master piece on my arm. If you are going to get some ink you HAVE to go to Redline and see for yourself. My 49er tattoo will be in Dans book after 9/15/07 after it is all healed. Friends and strangers can not get over the detail of my tattoo. Ron (one happy camper 9/1/07)

I had a tattoo of a small castle about 15 yrs ago on my back and i had never really finished my theme and i wanted to finish what i had started, but i would only settle for a clean and professional shop, so i checked around and looked at differant shops, for the cleanest exc. i had noticed a friends tattoo and was really impressed by the detail, so i asked him were he had gotten it, and he told me "Redline Tattoos", so i went to go look and noticed how clean his working area was and his whole shop in general, and also Dans 20 + yrs experience was a plus, i wasnt sure what i wanted, but explained to Dan, what i was kind of after, he went over alot of differant patterns and designs that he had there, until i found the one i wanted, i made the appointment and within the two weeks i was ready, you couldnt have ask for a better atmosphere, Dan had his fan / air conditioning on for me, and had the perfect music playing! the whole thing was a great experiance and i couldnt have asked for a better atmosphere, my wizard came out perfect and is a start from the theme im after and will only go back to Dan for my start of all my tattoos to come, i highly recommand Dan and his staff for any Tattoos or piercings, this is your body so you only want to trust someone that does it right the first time, and i will only go to Redline Tattoos for all my tattoo needs. Thanks Dan!

i went into redline and asked about pricing and scheduled an appointment for a couple weeks out. i was impressed with the fact that the shop is cleaner than any i've seen in fresno, and the artist (dan, i believe) was helpful and patient with me. i wasn't certain HOW i wanted everything to look, just that i wanted it, and he's been great about drawing everything up and giving me ideas on where i could go with it, etc. once i actually have the work done, i'll let you know more, but everything about this place seems really great, from the guys working there to the work i saw in his books. save yourself from possibly getting some nasty disease from an unclean place and check this place out. i guarantee you'll be as happy as i've been with them, if not more so!

Pros: very easygoing, helpful, willing to listen to ideas instead of just telling me what i'll be getting

I got a sacred heart tattoo from Dan at Redline about five months ago. Not only was I impressed by how clean the shop was and how well informed and helpful the staff was, I still can't believe how clean the lines are or how great the color is on my tattoo, not to mention how there was almost NO scabbing in the healing. Thank you, Dan!

Having spent most of my life residing in Los Angeles, I had taken the Quality of tattooing found there for granted. It has come to be my experience that most shops in Los Angeles do high quality work. In fact I didn't think anything of it until after I found myself relocated to Fresno. That is when I went into "tattoo culture shock". I lived in Fresno for about a year when I decided it was time for my next tattoo. I had known from my previous experiences that finding a good tattoo artist required some research. I started by going to 8 shops in the area whose names I will not mention, only to find that most didn't have the quality of work that I was expecting. More often then not I was treated as if I should not be questioning the quality of their work. After visiting several local shops , Redline was the obvious choice to perform my tattoo. I have to say I wasn't expecting much when I arrived as the shop is located upstairs behind a mexican restaurant and out of plain view from the street. However the inside of the Shop was Clean and covered with flash in 2 rooms. I made my way to the artists photo albums. I was impressed that most of the work even better than the work I had seen in Los Angeles. Dan helped to take an idea I had and he turned it into a custom design. They were able to break my tattoo up into multiple small sessions to fit into my schedule. I am very satisfied with my tattoo and my experiences at Redline. I would Highly recommend Redline Tattoo to anyone interested in a high quality and or unique, tattoo. They have a huge selection of Patterns to choose from. The staff was friendly and professional. The cost of my tattoo was extremely reasonable when compared with similar quality work performed in Fresno or elsewhere.
